City Council

Golden Valley is a Statutory "Plan B" City, with a part-time Mayor and City Council empowered by law to legislate city-wide policy and a full-time City Manager who serves as chief executive. All Council members serve at large to represent the entire community, so residents may contact any one of them to express concerns and opinions. Mayor and Council members are elected in November of odd-numbered years for four-year staggered terms.
