In-Person Option – Attend & Comment: 

Meetings are conducted in-person at City Hall and begin at 7:00 pm. Members of the public are encouraged to attend all open meetings. If you would like to participate remotely and are unable to attend the meeting, you may email in comments to planning@goldenvalleymn.gov and the comments will be provided to the Board.

Cancellations

BZA meetings will be canceled due to lack of agenda items, quorum, or conflicts with holidays. 

Members: Four regular members, one rotating Planning Commissioner, and one student member (non-voting). Regular Member Term: Three years. Youth Member Term: One Year

The Board of Zoning Appeals holds public hearings on variance applications and appeals of staff administrative decisions. These public hearings allow community members to learn first-hand about such appeals, ask questions, and offer comments. Questions and comments become part of the official record and will be used by the Board in reaching a decision.

Agendas are available prior to the meetings. Minutes are available following approval and signing.
