Proposed Developments

  1. Meadowbrook Elementary School

meadowbrook Opens in new windowProject Summary

Hopkins Public Schools would like to incorporate the 5300 Glenwood Ave building into the Meadowbrook Elementary School campus. This would allow for an improvements to the east entrance drive to prevent traffic back-ups onto Glenwood. Stormwater treatment infrastructure, replacement lighting, and new landscaping would be added. Future special education and virtual programs would be located in the 5300 building. City approvals are needed for a Future Land Use Map Amendment, a Zoning Map Amendment, and a Major Amendment to the existing Planned Unit Development (PUD), or master plan for the campus.
