Pickleball

Pickleball is a easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Players complete on a badminton or tennis court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center and use a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles.

Pickleball can be played on City tennis courts over the tennis net (many nets can be lowered for optimal play). The park and recreation department no longer supplies portable pickleball nets or equipment.
