Pickleball is played on a badminton or tennis court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. Players use a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles.
Adult indoor and outdoor volleyball leagues are offered throughout the year.
Severe Weather Guidelines
The City of Golden Valley's severe weather guidelines were developed to protect participants, staff, and spectators involved in athletic activities. They will be used before and during City-sponsored athletic programs and events by private groups using City facilities.
