Street maintenance is one of the biggest, and costliest, responsibilities of City government. It's also one of the most necessary. Golden Valley must keep approximately 120 miles of streets at an adequate level of service and safety.

Spring Load Restrictions on Streets
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (Mn/DOT) sets the dates for spring load restrictions on streets. On average, spring load restrictions are enforced between March 10 and April 27, but dates vary each year.
