The Little Free Library is a community project that provides a book-sharing box where people can donate their unwanted or used books.

What needs to be done before I can place my Little Library in my yard?

To place a Little Library in your yard, you are required to obtain a right-of-way permit. Once the permit application is submitted, city staff will prepare a maintenance agreement that the homeowner needs to sign.

Little Libraries are inspected yearly by city staff and the owner is alerted if there are any issues.

How can I apply for a Little Library?

Fill out and submit the ROW Permit Application (PDF). Once the application has been submitted, city staff will work on the maintenance agreement.
