Golden Valley To Host Buckthorn Removal And Litter Clean Up Event

The City of Golden Valley is organizing a buckthorn removal and litter clean up event in Bassett Creek Nature Area on Thursday, July 25, from 9:30–11 am. All ages are welcome. Contact the City's Sustainability Specialist at ekehrberg@goldenvalleymn.gov to sign up and receive more information. City staff will be on-site to teach volunteers buckthorn removal methods and assist with the clean up.
