Golden Valley Fire Chief Bethany Brunsell was sworn in at the April 16, 2024 City Council meeting.
Chief Deputy State Fire Marshal Amanda Swenson administered the oath of office, and retired Golden Valley Fire Chief John Crelly pinned Brunsell’s badge.
“I am honored to be chosen as the next Golden Valley Fire Chief," said Brunsell. "This is a great department and great community and I am excited to lead our mission of providing the best possible service to our community while also looking out for the safety, health and wellness of our firefighters.”
