Following the early morning shooting Aug 27, 2025 at the Church of Annunciation in Minneapolis, Golden Valley City officials express condolences to the families and friends of those involved as well as the community at large.
“As a city, our hearts and prayers are with the students, families, and staff of Annunciation Catholic School, and the entire Minneapolis community,” said Golden Valley Mayor Roslyn Harmon. “We grieve today, and we will support one another as we heal forward.”
The Golden Valley Police Department responded to the incident as mutual aid partners. Mutual aid agreements between local agencies provide a framework for reciprocal management and assistance in emergencies or times of crisis.
