Usually, defacing City property is illegal, but for the next week it’s allowed on Gearty Park’s old hockey boards. From May 1–8, old rink boards will be spread out around the park for all to paint, write, draw, or doodle on. Those interested in participating should bring their own materials.
Doodlers are asked to be respectful, keep art family-friendly, and not cover the work of others. Boards found with offensive material will be removed.
Some doodleboards from past years are on display at the Medley Park Community Garden and at Lions Park, so feel free to check those out for some inspiration!
