Community Input Needed To Help Shape Police Policies

The City of Golden Valley is continuing to invite residents, workers, and visitors to help shape police policies to better reflect the community’s values. Over the coming months, participants can join online or in-person sessions to discuss policies across a range of topics.   

Automated License Plate Readers

  • Online Via Teams: Monday, Feb 17 | 12:30–2 pm 
  • In Person: Thursday, Feb 27 | 6–8 pm | Valley Community Presbyterian Church, 3100 Lilac Dr N, Golden Valley 

Criminal Conduct On School Buses

  • Online Via Teams: Tuesday, March 18 | 12:30–2 pm 
  • In Person: Thursday, March 20 | 6–8 pm | Location TBD

Public Recording Of Law Enforcement Activity

  • Online Via Teams: Monday, April 21 | 12:30–2 pm
  • In Person: Thursday, April 24 | 6–8 pm | Location TBD

Personnel Complaints

  • Online Via Teams: Monday, May 19 | 12:30–2 pm 
  • In Person: Thursday, May 22 | 6–8 pm | Location TBD
