The annual Public Safety Open House features Police and Fire Station tours, prizes, and displays and demonstrations of equipment used by police and firefighters to keep the community safe.

Spend time with police and firefighters in your local parks. Enjoy safety talks, have fun, and sometimes even indulge in ice cream on hot days. Look out for the firetruck that provides a gigantic sprinkler to cool the kids down.
National Night Out

Golden Valley neighborhoods are invited to join cities throughout the state to promote safe communities by having potluck dinners, ice cream socials, barbequies, bike parades, and more. Use your imagination and plan something fun!
