The Golden Valley Police Department’s Community Service Officers (CSOs) have a new uniform design selected by the officers to equip them with essential tools for responding to emergencies and service calls.
According to Golden Valley Police Chief Virgil Green, the move is part of the department’s rebranding as well as a way “to continue enhancing our community-to-career pipeline program.”
“While we honor our traditions, we’re committed to integrating innovation that prioritizes the well-being of our officers and the safety of our community as we strive to set a gold standard for community policing,” adds Green.
