Join Golden Valley’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission (DEIC) Thursday, Dec 11, 6 to 7:30 pm at Brookview for the Building An Equitable Golden Valley Year In Review.
This program will begin with a discussion featuring City Manager Noah Schuchman, who will describe his role, share current City initiatives, and explain how equity and policy shape daily operations. The program's second portion will examine the meaning of the word "equity" and its importance in City planning. It will also highlight the DEIC's role in promoting diversity and inclusion within the City's planning process. Following this discussion and a review of 2025's DEIC forum topics, attendees will share ideas for future discussion themes.
