Help Prevent Pollution In Local Waterways

Current News Posted on June 11, 2025

Illicit discharge refers to anything other than rainwater entering the stormwater system, and it can harm water quality and the living ecosystem of plants, animals, and humans. Although City crews routinely inspect stormwater outlets, residents also play a key role in spotting and reporting issues.

Watch for signs like cloudy water, oily sheens, unusual odors, and suspicious activity near storm drains. Report non-emergency concerns using the online Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) form or call 763-593-8030. For emergencies, call 911.
