The Golden Valley Police and Fire Departments invite you to participate in the following community outreach programs this holiday season.
Santa To A Senior
The Golden Valley Fire Relief Association (GVFRA) is once again partnering with Home Instead in the “Be A Santa To A Senior” program. The program provides gifts to residents in and around the community who would otherwise not receive a gift during the holidays.

Toys For Tots
The Golden Valley Police Department’s (GVPD) Toys For Tots collection is an annual tradition in collaboration with multiple metro area police departments. On the last collection day, they all meet in Golden Valley, load their cruisers with donated gifts, and drive to the Kare 11 drop-off site.
To donate, bring new, unwrapped toys to the GVPD at 7700 Golden Valley Rd (open Mon–Fri, 8–4:30 pm) by 3 pm Dec 13. The GVPD cannot accept monetary donations.

The route starts at the GVPD and follows Golden Valley Rd to Boone Ave/General Mills Blvd to the KARE 11 parking lot in time for the 5 pm news program.
