The Community Development Department works to balance Golden Valley's growth and revitalization while ensuring vibrant neighborhoods and top-notch quality of life. This involves handling everything from development reviews and property inspections to business development and neighborhood preservation.

The Community Development team is proud to keep Golden Valley safe, thriving, and beautifully maintained. It consists of the Building Inspections, Engineering, Housing and Economic Development, and Planning/GIS Divisions responsible for the following disciplines:
