A portion of the south frontage road along Hwy 55 (Olson Hwy Service Rd) will be closed near the intersection of Douglas Dr and Hwy 55 starting Wednesday, June 14, 2023 until late September, making the frontage road inaccessible from Hwy 55. Access to Perpich Center for Arts Education and nearby residences and businesses will be provided via detours using Hwy 55, Hwy 100, Glenwood Ave, and Turners Crossroad N (see map).
This closure is related to the City of Golden Valley’s Douglas Dr and Hwy 55 Intersection Project, which will construct a roundabout and underpass near the intersection. For more information about the project and to sign up for weekly email updates, visit DouglasAnd55.com.
