Golden Valley Fire Department Hosting Four CPR & AED Training Courses In 2023

Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere, even on the field of an NFL game. According to the American Heart Association, more than 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside of the hospital each year, and about 90 percent of those cases are fatal. The percentage of fatal cases drops to 55 percent when proper bystander CPR is administered. Learn the life-saving skills from the GVFD at an upcoming Hands-Only CPR & AED Training course Thu, Feb 9, 7 pm at Brookview.

Community members who are unavailable for the Feb 9 session are encouraged to register for a later course.
