Multiple Ways To Vote For Nov 8 Election

Residents looking to vote absentee for the Nov 8 election can do so up until Nov 7 at City Hall. Those voting on election day are encouraged to doublecheck their polling place as it may have changed since last year due to redistricting.

Any eligible voter may vote by absentee ballot for any reason, and absentee ballots can be cast by mail or in person. Check the City website for the requirements and process for voting absentee.

For more information about voting and elections, visit the City website or call 763-593-8012.

Vote Absentee By Mail

To vote by mail, go to www.hennepin.us/residents/elections/absentee-voting, print and complete an absentee ballot application, and return it to Hennepin County Elections either by mail, email, or fax. The County will mail the ballot to you once the application is completed.

  • Mail: Hennepin County Elections Government Center, 300 S 6th St MC 012 Minneapolis, MN 55487-0012
  • Fax: 612-348-2151
  • Email: hc.vote@hennepin.us

Once you’ve received and completed your ballot, return it using the prepaid envelope that came with your ballot or in person at Golden Valley City Hall.
