Brookview Golden Valley was recently named a 2021 Framework for Design Excellence recipient from the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
The Framework for Design Excellence recognizes projects that excel in one of ten categories: Design for Integration, Design for Equitable Communities, Design for Ecosystems, Design for Water, Design for Economy, Design for Energy, Design for Well-being, Design for Resources, Design for Change, and Design for Discovery. Brookview Golden Valley was recognized in the Design for Integration category.
According to the AIA website, the Design for Integration category factors in central design and performance concept; connections with place, climate, culture, and people; beauty and delight; connection to the other nine principles; and integrated design process.
