Douglas Dr/Hwy 55 Intersection Project Open House Is Sept 29, 5–7 PM

The City is hosting an informational open house Thu, Sept 29, 5–7 pm at Perpich Center for Arts Education (6125 Olson Memorial Highway) for the Douglas Dr/Hwy 55 Intersection Project.

The project includes constructing an ADA compliant underpass culvert crossing for pedestrians/ bikers to will connect the south frontage road to Douglas Dr, underneath Hwy 55. Additionally, the south the intersection will be extended to provide more queuing capacity for vehicles at the intersection, thus moving more vehicles through in a shorter amount of time.

The open house will not include a presentation, but City and consultant staff will be available to answer questions and hear comments and concerns.

To learn more about the project, watch this video or visit the project page on the City website. For specific questions about the project, please contact R.J. Kakach at 763-593-8043.
