Concerts In The Park Begin Tonight At Brookview Park

The annual Concerts in the Park music series begins tonight, 7pm at Brookview Park. Concerts continue through August 8 on Monday nights.

  • June 6 Golden Valley Orchestra (Large Pavilion)
    Music of stage and screen, with hits from opera and Broadway 
  • June 13 Dred I Dread (Gazebo) - Sponsored by Golden Valley Pride
    Reggae music for all ages
  • Thurs, June 16 Robbinsdale City Band (Large Pavilion)
     Entertainment by one of the longest continuously active community bands in Minnesota
  • June 20 Pan Handlers (Gazebo)
    Instrumental covers of popular tunes on steel drums
  • June 27 Percolators (Gazebo)
    ’60s rock in three-part harmony
  • July 11 The 1st John Philip Sousa Memorial Band (Large Pavilion)
    A summertime favorite paired with the annual Ice Cream Social
  • July 18 Salsa del Soul (Gazebo)
    High-energy dance music of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean
  • July 25 Banjo Boy Variety Band (Gazebo)
    Variety of pop, swing, blues, country, and ragtime hits featuring vocal harmony and sing-a-long
  • Aug 1 Stomp N’ Dixie (Gazebo)
    A razzmatazz style of bass walking, guitar chunking, and horns riffing
  • Aug 8 Capri Big Band (Large Pavilion)
    Big band swing with the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, and Ray Charles
