Local Memorial Day Services Set For May 30

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon has planned Memorial Day services May 30, 2022 at the following locations:

  • 10 am: Gethsemane Cemetery, 8151 N 42nd Ave, New Hope (Mass followed by light refreshments)
  • 10:45 am: Golden Valley Cemetery, 2575 Winnetka Ave N, Golden Valley (Chester Bird Post 523 American Legion will present honors at approximately 11:30 am, followed by light refreshments at Chester Bird American Legion, 200 Lilac Drive N, Golden Valley)
  • 1 pm: Washburn-McReavy Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 5125 W Broadway Ave, Crystal (Music, guest speakers, light refreshments)

All events are open to the public.

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon is a comprehensive program that creates awareness for the purpose of connecting military service members and their families with community support, training, services, and resources. Beyond The Yellow Ribbon Quad Communities joins nearly 200 Minnesota cities, counties, and businesses already proclaimed Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.
