Press Room | Brookview Community Center Replacement

The Brookview Community Center Replacement process began in 2014 and included a feasibility study and design proposal, work by a City Council-appointed a citizen task force to focus on vision, guiding principles, and potential program areas, and public input. In November 2015, the City Council authorized staff to move forward on a proposed design for a 37,000-square-foot building to be constructed just south of the existing 19,000-square-foot community center, which means the existing building won’t have to be demolished until its replacement is up and running.
